Re: Best bang for your buck in engine performance
yeah its all trial by error. quality product pain in the a@$ instructions.. i layed down on a low boy/ dolly and worked from the rear. i tried to get to it from the engine hatch like the directions said but, i guess because of the lift i couldnt get to it. i ended up popping up the seat, taking off the muffler and like i said i layed there and worked her from behind
if you use a jack as far to the rear as possible it gives a little more of a gap/room for your hands. they said it was a ten minute install but itwas more than worth it for twenty something dollars......... |

Re: Best bang for your buck in engine performance
torque spring is the best bang for the buck on a stock engine cart.
next would be a K&N intake filter along with a rejet then remove muffler and replace with the Plowmans performance muffler or make one yourself. Next pull head and shave it .020 rering motor due to the age |

Re: Best bang for your buck in engine performance
And for a stock cart I would just get the spring instead of the machined sheaves or the plowmans clutch kit. which i have.
not that much difference |

Re: Best bang for your buck in engine performance
I never get the machined sheave either. You really will never tell the difference between a stock and machined sheave if riding off roading and my theory is: why replace something like that with something that has more or less just been weakened by having it shaved down.
