G1 Blaster Intake/Exhaust
Ok I have my exhaust and carb off a Blaster installed on my cart. I am having a problem with the carb though. The carb has a new rebuild kit installed, but the fuel keeps flowing out of the overflow.
Does anyone know if the fuel pump is too much for the float assembly? Or should the float be able to shut off the flow regardless of the pump? |

Re: G1 Blaster Intake/Exhaust
The carb can handle up to about 3-3.5psi fuel-pressure,after that you will pop the needle off the seat and flood.Check your pump output pressure. You can buy a cheap regulator from Napa if you want to stay with this setup and pressure is too high, but if its' a stock G1 pump it should work fine.

Re: G1 Blaster Intake/Exhaust
it sounds like you mite have something stuck in the needle on your float. your stock carb is ok with the fuel pump wright? hay do you have any pic. of the pipe on the cart? and what intake did you use?

yup, sounds like dirt under the needle. Clean carb really well and try again, if not, replace needle and seat.

Re: G1 Blaster Intake/Exhaust
I really would like to know if the carb and exhaust from the blaster worked! Any news yet? I am thinking of doing that to my G1 but I don't even know if its worth the bother

Re: G1 Blaster Intake/Exhaust
If you dig a couple years back there is a place that will port the cylinder, make it work a lot better with a pipe and big carb. You will have to clutch it for more rpm.
