G1 Only runs with choke pulled

Just purchased a 1988 G1 (J31): Only runs with choke out & not very well then. Will not stay running. Has new carb, new fuel pump. Tank cleaned, new fuel lines, compression 90lbs:

Fuel pump putting out very little fuel with line unpluged at carb.

I had someone blow smoke into carb threw filter box pipe,with piston up, could not see any smoke coming from around the crank seals or any were else: Did this 3 or 4 times.

First time working on golf cart: Any help would be appreciated

Go to the the top of this section and look at the sticky "fuel pump"
It may be your pump is plugged up.

Check impulse line from crankcase to fuel pump makes sure it is not cracked or kinked

What do you think about the 90 psi compression?

How much gas should be coming out?I only have a small trickly:

Hey Rambo... I have a G1 along with my G9. I will be BBQing the exhaust today and tuning up the G9. Have you roasted your G1 exhaust yet?

The fuel pump works on engine pulse, Bad seals not much pulse. Not much pulse not much fuel pump output.
