Default 85 G1 Vibration

my wife bought me a G1 that we are starting to work on. It runs relatively well, but vibrates quite a bit when going down the road.

any suggestions as to where to start looking?

Thanks and this is a great site and a great find.

is it with the speed of the engine or the speed of the cart down the road? could the tires be bad?

Tires are good, it seems to be in the drive train. I am not sure where to look at and what to check.

Motor runs well, loads up a little, but i am not sure of the age of the plugs and when they were last changed.

i am planning on tinkering this weekend.

Thanks for the input to this point.

When the clutch shifts all the way out at speed, the belt will run on the inside where it is cogged. You will get a vibration/humming from the belt. It only does it when shifted all the way out, so then if the cart goes any faster the rpm will climb like its in high gear with a manual trans. I always called it the overdrive lol. If the belt is worn bad, or bad spots in it, or the clutches are worn bad or cracked/etc, this will be worse. Motor mounts could also cause a vibration.
