1982 Gas Yamaha G1 wont start
I replaced the starter generator on my G1 Gas golf cart. When I went to adjust the tension spring I shorted out the positive terminal to the frame. The fuse on the ground side blew out, I noticed when I replaced it someone had replaced the 10A with a 20 amp. After I replace the fuse nothing happens, it is completly dead.

did you check the positive fuse also? make sure you didnt burn up the fuse holders?

Thanks alot for your response. I did check both fuses. I just figured out that I fried the ground cable. Fixed that and it seems to be working fine.

Check your battery clamps and other wiring first.
