Default help with my power spring kit PLEASE!!!

So i got the kit with the spring and im following the instructions. I even got the puller from tom however its still not poping off. I dont want to tighten down those bolts too much cause im afraid they with break! Ive sprayed oil and everything. Its sitting on there right now with tension on the puller. Any other tricks you guys recommend? im so stumped

the puller/bolts from tom shouldnt break.. i just went through this. keep tightening and it will come off. i didnt use any pb blaster or penatrating oil.

so all i do is take off the 17mm nut and slap that puller on right? no other steps im missing? Thanks alot

nope. just the 17 and cotter pen. just keep tightening then bang it will scare the $#it out of you!

ok well i have those bolts on there prettly **** far but i will keep goin. I thought it would have came off easyer then this!

so did i.... what kind of oil are you using? you might want to soak it over night if you do not feel comfortable wrenching that thing too tight! if the bolts bottom out try spacing the puller..

i ended up getting it off. I put the new spring on and man that is hard to compress. I tried it out and it seems like its got more tourqe however im not sure if its slower on top or not. I think its the same. thanks for the help

glad to hear you got it my cart also felt that way but once i got to full speed it was not the case. it just gives the illusion of almost being geared down lower. glad i could help..... chris
