My g2 project and progress
Hello all, I've been lurking here and researching advice on refinishing my 89 g2. A little background on me, I bought the cart last year for $750 and played golf with it all summer. It ran great and I decided that I wanted to give it a nice paint job.
I've been working on the project for a couple weekends now (with lots of interruptions). One thing I've learned is that there are a lot of body parts and pieces that need to come off a g2 for painting. I want to send out a big thank you to tungpo1 who's been answering questions and giving me advice. I'll attach some Before pictures here and as the project moves on, I'll keep you all updated. |

Re: My g2 project and progress
Well, I'm pretty much done.
Sorry I didn't do a very good job of taking pictures of the whole process but I have some finished pictures to put up for now. Still a few parts and things that I will still update, (like painting the rear bumper) but I'm pretty much done. I've learned alot doing this project, and for a first time painting anything besides latex or school art projects, I'm pretty proud. Let me know what you all think. |

Re: My g2 project and progress
It looks great but I hate to see that youve bought the products from buggies unlimited. Well, I guess they will last for a little while....

Re: My g2 project and progress
Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm pretty happy with the results.
Yamaha4life- The spinner hub caps, seat covers, cooler and ball washer did all come from Buggies Unlimited. They were all Christmas and birthday gifts that family got for me. I bought the windshield from them too but the roof and support frame were from the yamaha shop in Spokane. |
