belt help?

I am hoping for a little help. My neighbor has a 98 G11A. Can you tell me what size and hp the motor is? And more importantly what is the correct drive belt for it and where do we get it? Thanks.

What motor is in the G11?

1998 G11's used the ssame engine forung in G16a golf cars. All yamaha 4 cycle glof cars and industrial cars used the same drive belt Part # J55-G6241-00-00. The Drive now uses a diffeant belt. Hope this helps Later Dave

Not only is my spelling bad..I can't read either! The engine is the same as a G16 (will get specs/hp for you on monday) as for the part # j55-g6241-00-00, yes thats the Yamaha part #. If you want to buy a aftermarket belt...you can use it as a "cross referance". I'd stick with the Yamaha belt. Later dave
