Rear Seat Sun Classic G3???
I'm getting a 1986 Sun Classic G3 and I need a rear seat on it. I know they never made one for it so I have to make one or modify one to fit. Has anyone modified an existing EZGO, Club car, or Yamaha rear seat to fit it or do I need to fabricate one from scratch? I figured it would be easier to get one already made and modify it. Any pics would be great! thanx!

Re: Rear Seat Sun Classic G3???
Welcome to BGW genaris and congrats a on Sun Classic. There would be a school of thought here to leave that classic alone, restore it, and parlay that into something that really meets your back seat cartin needs.....

Re: Rear Seat Sun Classic G3???
I almost did that to mine but, somebody talked me out of it before that happened..... typical of the Yamahas, the rear fenders are a flat buildable surface.. Post lots of pics if you decide to do it.

The G5 is harder to come by ....... I have had two G3. One was a zippy 2 stroke
Driving them makes me feel like Mr Jetson |

Not sure if anyone's following this but I did it today. I'm extremely satisfied with the results.

The seat installation looks great. Which seat did you install and how much modification was needed to fit the G3?

Awesome work LukeL! I am picking up one of these carts this weekend to buzz around the campground with. Was hoping to find something that would work for a rear seat and this looks awesome. Would love to know what you used and what it took to make it work. |
