Default what lift kit?

Any preferences out there from 3R or Jakes or Carts plus for the best lift kit. 6" or 7 inch? in my budget for an old G9 Yamaha 1991. Motor change clutching change? Any building tips on what I need greatly appreciated

Mike mac that cart of yours sure looks nice, you need to get that thing out and into the mud. I went with a cheap no name 4" lift kit for trail riding only because if i go any higher than that im scared it would tip over on the side hills that we ride on.

I went with the Jakes 6" and love it. I can recommend 3R for GREAT service, free shipping on some items and 10% off if you order online and use BGW as a reference. So they actually come out cheaper than anyone else. Usually ship the same day or next. I have ordered numerous things and will do so in the future.

If you have 8" wheels, I run douglas spun alum wheels, they are called kart wheels and are 3+5 offset. That means 3 in and 5 out for an 8" wide wheel. They stick out 1" more than most 7" wide I see and are more stable, not that expensive last I looked. They have the dish on the back to fit drum brakes on GCs. Or you should be able to find that in a 10" in a normal wheel.
