Default G9 head and valve ?

I am rebuilding my G9 and have removed the head and removed the exhaust valve but the intake valve will not come out. It slides very freely in the guides but when it gets to the end of the valve, where it is notched for the clip that holds the spring down, it will not slide out. Is there some sort of lockring or clip or something that I am missing? Any help?

Default Re: G9 head and valve ?

Unless the head was already reworked the exhaust didn't have a guide. I would assume you have a little burr on the valve tip that might need a little sanding, only thing that makes sense to me.......Have them put a new guide in the exhaust side when you have the head done.
