Default G-1 Blaster ATV top end

Hi, i have a g-1- 2-stroke, i heard that you could put one of the bigbore cylinder kits from a Yama Blaster 200 atv on it which is a 240cc kit. I was just wondering what i would have to do to get it to fit. if anybody has done this or has any info on it please let me know. thanks, Randall

Not sure, I was told the engine is a descendant of the old single yamaha sled motors from about the early 70s, of course the porting would be far different. What most people do is go find a bravo 250 snowmobile cheap and use that engine. The ignition can me modded to fit it and then you have reverse too. Quite a bit more power if you mod the pipe to fit and still faster if you don't. You can get the G1 ported too, some have even put banshee pipe on them. But the porting and pipe should match to work right.

That kit might fit for all I know.

don't know anything about a blaster top end fitting. but if you would like to tackle the job a good porting. mill the head down. different pipe. and possibly advance your timing a little bit. then just play with the carb to get it jetted right and i can guarantee atleast double the hp. just remember if you would like to port it yourself its always a good idea to have it bored out 1 size over and then have the ports chamfered.

if the blaster top end does fit i rec. going with the CT240 blaster kit. if you were by chance looking at the vito's 240 kit they are junk and you still need to port it out before you can really get much gain out of it. but the ct kit is supposed to give you 40 hp. vs a blasters stock like i think around 15.
