Default Speed Spring is in...

Just got done putting the spring in the G8.... It was a pretty easy install, I had the body off to do the shock springs, so I just pulled the muffler so access was easy. On of the bushings on the spring cracked, of course, but I think there is enough there to work.

Gonna go put the body on and I will post up if I got any gains...

I've been thinking about this as my ramps on my driven clutch are worn.
I think I'll send it to Tom and have it machined and let him put the spring and ramps in for me.

Well, by the "SeatofthePantsometer" it has more top end for sure. Doesn't seem like a ton, but I have the governer screwed all the way down... I cam up the driveway fast enough to almost slide into the horsetrailer and kill myself...LOL!!! I would say it's worth the $20 for sure.

It seems like it might take off just a weeee bit slower, but I am not sure why that would be, so that could just be me.... all in all I give it a

I had the back off, so it was easy to get too... only took about 30 min. Be careful when taking the old spring off, as there are twl lil plastic bushings that go in the curled part of the spring, and they can bust easy....
