1992 G-9 clutch issue

I am going to remove the primary clutch. What kind of lube and what do you lube? Sorry if this is redundent I went through about 15 past pages and did not get the answer I needed.
On another note I have been on many sites like these for Seadoo restoration and other junk projects I can not seem to stay away from. This site is hands down the best! The people are extremely polite and dont treat your lack of knowledge as an invite for ridicule. Thanks again and again from us backyard mechanics who have some skill and are not afraid to try new things!

I recommend "moly" grease . Your clutch shold have a zerk fitting for greaseing (unless you have an aftermarket clutch). Remove drive belt, remove 6 screws (that hold the gold colored cap on), put the zerk at 12:00, push the floating flange (the sheave that moves in and out) toward the engine, shoot 1 maybe 2 shots of grease, rotate the clutch so the zerk is at 6:00 and get all the exsess grease out between the floating flange and spider. You only want grease on the bushings in the floating flange, not on the weights and pins. Normally once a year is good, with extreem use, maybe 2 times a year. Good luck. thanks again! Boy I pulled it apart last night and did what you said and the **** thing looks brand new and slides so easy up and down the shaft it scared me! Got the new clutch spring in, lubed clutches and a new home made exhaust with a lawnmower silencer on it. Sounds and runs pretty good. I have more tweaking to do carb jetting wise but its coming out ok thanks to you guys. How do I post pictures of the machine on this site. It looks kind of neat and I would like to share it with you guys. Got a few rips in the seat and a few dings here and there but its fun to ride and the kids love it!

Its all about the fun you have with them, if the clutches don't work well you lose a fair amount of power.
