Default Tailpipe??

81 and 84 Yamaha's stock two stroke in each... Can I add pipe to the exhaust to make them a little more quite or would that create to much back pressure and do more harm than good???

you can add some...but it may have to have a change on the carb to fit it. You might also have a loss in power but I'm not sure of that and I'm sure that also depends on how long the pipe is with how many bends. basically it comes down to the quieter you try to make it the less power you will have so it depends what you want more.

Only one bend.. instead of straight down maybe just an easy 90 and straight out the back...

Todd,
I know that exit pipe on the G1 is real tiny, maybe 1/2" or so? I would think if you tapered it to a 3/4 - 1" to run it to the back you would not add any pressure??

Just a thought.
