Default G2 build..need swingarm advice

Need everyone advice for the G9 and G2 owners. I am right in the middle of my build and need to lower and push back my swingarm to center my 25's in the rear fender wells.

Details: 87 Yamaha G2, Jakes long travel, Kenda executioneer 25x10x12 tires.

I have read on the site that many people are using 4" down and 2" back as the dimensions, but I am trying to figure out the best way to do it.

Do you think a terra flex shackle (used as a double jointed leaf spring hanger) would work or would it articulate too much?

Do you believe a bolt on bracket would need to be rigid or could it articulate?

Or would you just weld a new bracket on the 2" tube frame?

Pics anyone? of what you have done to lower your swingarm?

Thanks...pic of my cart so far...

I agree...simple and easy to build.

I have drooled over Ron's cart for a few years now...

Thanks

The G2/9 does not articulate, but you could convert it. I kind of like it this way it is more stable on the trails, if I do mine I will just move it down like that.

That setup worked OK but my newer setup is much stronger. Check it out here> http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/desig...me-repair.html

Oh yes, I'd do it that way it would be easier for me to weld that stuff up than make some bolt on thing. Easier/stronger to have a square tube for it, that is kind of how I make my shock mounts.
