Default G9 value... please help

Hello, I'm a Buggie newbe,
I'm looking at a G9 for my elderly dad to get around the homestead.
It looks to be in very good condition, newly overhauled by golf course mechanic it has a steel box on the back other than that, looks pretty much stock.
He wants 1500 firm... is this a fair price?
any help would be appreciated
thanks in advance!
Gary

Sounds fair to me. Your dad is worth so much more! I can almost see the "joy" in your dads eyes when you get it for him! You will never imagine the uses/time he will share with that car! The G9 Yamaha is a very solid trouble free golf car, doesn't use much gas either. It also has plenty of power if you want to add a trailer hitch. Good luck and keep us posted. If your worried about getting "taken" ask the "mechanic" if he'll put a warranty on it. He did "overhaul it". If you do buy it...would love to see a pic's of your father enjoying it! Later Dave
