jakes vs allsports on G9 (again)
what size tire can you use on jakes 6" g9 lift? allsports say a max of 22".
I have 23's and would prefer the lift pushed the spindles foward at least 2". I was going to move the allsports kit forward if thats possible without affecting the tie rods. Does the jakes lift move the spindles foward? I like the idea of the double a arm better, but from what I hear, it is pretty light. Any pics to share of a jakes with 23's from the side? |

The 7" double A Arm will take 23 no problem, I built many of them. 24" ok and some 25"s

Lee, the Jakes single A-arm moves the spindles forward one inch. And also wider (side to side) but I don't know by how much. I have Carlisle 489's 23 x 8 on 10. The wheels are 10 x 7. Never had a rubbing problem. Hope these help!

Great pics Mike, thanks.I always liked that cart
Whats the purpose of the multi shock hole mount ? Is that to adjust your camber as the shock gets weaker? |

I don't know, probably different shock lengths I'm guessing. Maybe somebody knows.

Re: jakes vs allsports on G9 (again)
Newby, I've got the allsport lift on my g9 with 22's and you could easily put 23's on it with no problem. The only way I think you would run into a problem is if you really load it down in the rear. then all you would have to do is trim the end of your rocker panel or do drop brackets on your swing arm.
