Any pics? I don't remember if there are steering stops or not on the G1's... If so, cut them off any reweld closer together...

there are steering stops on them...its nothing more than a bolt threaded through the spindle. Run that bolt in a few turns and that will allow you to turn tighter...but watch that you dont go to far and they your tires MAY rub at full lock. I cant imagine you would have to mod your spindle to make a tighter turn radius because mine turns real short

then what stops you from turning sharp? does the tires rub the body/rocker? if thats the case then who made your lift? you probly need to move the front end forward a couple inches and that will give the wheels room to move under there

its a jakes lift nothing rubs i have plenty of clearence. I took the steering box out and took it apart and the shaft the steering arm is on has two pins in it that ride on the worm gear one had brok off at some point and someone put a bolt in there that didnt fit in the worm gear so i was onlt using half the worm gear to turn left and right. i got another pin from a busted box in a g2 and now she turns on a dime.
