Rear seat and heavy duty springs /coils for a G2?
We have a G2 (1989) and are going to put in an economy rear seat - i have read that we need heavy duty rear coils / springs. All I can find are $230 Jakes for a G2---are the springs necessary and does anyone know where else to find em? thanks!

if you stay with stock size tires and a four inch lift you should be ok. my g9 had 4 inches in the rear when I got it and I used it for trick or treating and we had four adults on the cart and a trailer full of kids and no rubbing.

I believe the Jakes HD spring kit is around $100.00 (both sides).

Here, they are. I didn't check price, but last I knew, they were around $100.
Go to Jakes lift kits and look around! Then call them. |
