Most seem to recommend 100:1. Some of the info I've read say the factory oiling system made the mixture about 150:1 but that seems awful light on the oil. I have a new to me G1 and mixed my first tank of gas at 50:1. That's what I use in every 2 cycle motor I have. Two Kawasaki 1100 jetskis, weed eater, chainsaw, leaf blower. It's probably way fat on the oil, but it's barely smoking and seems to run ok. Too soon to tell if it's gonna foul plugs. I figure other than the plug fouling thing more oil isn't really gonna hurt anything. Could be wrong though.

I'll be anxious to see what most recommend.

I mix mine about 85:1 and i havnt had a problem at all. Now according to others on here im mixing a bit heavy also but i run wide open pretty much all the time so that takes a bit more oil to be good at that.

Texted back and forth with the previous owner. He was running 40:1. He was not the original owner, but had the cart for a number of years and ran it hard. If it worked for him I guess 50:1 will work for me. That way there's no special mixing going on in my camp. Everything gets 50:1 and I can share gas between toyz and toolz without worry.

If I were to accidentally feed my jetskis 85:1 or 100:1 they might protest in a really bad way.
