Won't hold gas
I have a G16 and I changed the gas filter last weekend and it was running fine until now . Now I have to choke the life out of it ounce its running it go's fine until I get to an up grade than it just falls flat on its noise.

Did you install the fuel filter in the right direction? Check the fuel lines going to and coming from the feul pump. If all is good, I would bypass that new filter and see if that helps.

Did double check that every thing was good. I took some carb cleaner and gave the it a good cleaning to find that there are a lot of dry root crackes in the ( boot, flange what ever it is called were the carb mountes to the intake. I guess it is safe to say that I am getting a little more air to gas than I need and thats why it starts so hard .
