Broken front roof support bolts
Recently purchased a 96 g16 and the bolts that secure the roof assembly are broke off, am I able to just tap these out and put new bolts in, if so what size are they?

Re: Broken front roof support bolts
I suppose you are referring to the 2 bolts holding the front windshield post. A 3/8 - inch bolt should work. If you want a bigger one, use 7/16.

Re: Broken front roof support bolts
The rest of the cart is metric but for some reason the front two strut bolts are 3/8-16.
Should be able to drill and try to extract first. Drilling might screw it on through, but try that before trying to drill and rethread. pull the front cowl if you need to. |
