Default How difficult is it to replace clutch?

There's a G-8 for sale in my area- needs clutch and i am thinking of buying, repairing and cashing in. How hard is it to replace the clutch?

Its not difficult at all. In fact, its kinda fun, because you can work on it on your bench, once its off.

But, before you replace the whole clutch, take it off and open it up. They make replacement parts for the whole thing.

Buy it, and post pics!

Not hard at all if you are comfortable with nuts and bolts and a spring here and there. Straight replacement is one big bolt.. and maybe a clutch puller (which is still kinda like a bolt) and a couple of other bolts to loosen other belts and what not.

My dislike for the G8 and G14 comes from the gas tank being on the driverside. Makes clutch greasing/removal/repair a hassle. Otherwise there all good. Good luck on your decission.
