Yamaha G1 Brake Problem
I have a 1982 Yamaha G1. I took off the left brake drum and replaced the pads. I can't get the drum to go back on the cart. How do I loosen the self adjuster to allow the drum to go over the new pads?

Re: Yamaha G1 Brake Problem
The star wheel and adjuster bolt need to be screwed back to almost the fully seated position. Its easy when you have the linings off. Lifte the "adjustment lever" with a flat blade screw dirver and the "star wheel" to get it back to were you need it.
