Question G1 Top End not so good!

I thought I would start a new thread on this issue since it is a relatively new problem. ( in a since)
So I got the Charging issue fixed, but when test driving the cart I still notice that it cuts out at full throttle or I should say it is really 3/4 throttle.
I noticed it backfired a little bit (2 times) but mostly it just acts like it could be the governor.
However, I am not really familiar with the governor on these golf carts. (the only vehicle I have owned that had a governor is my pickup and it cuts out at 99mph. Don't ask me how I know that. )

I adjusted the screw on the Carb. and it helped some... but not completely. (right now it is set at 2.5 turns in)
I have great low end and mid range speed - but top speed????

turn that screw all the way in. But that still doesnt do away with the gov. If you want to do that you take the throttle cable off the rear end where it is and make a bracket for it to go directly to the carb.

Do you know where you can find any pictures on where someone has done this? or pictures on how to do it the other way by drilling out the governor?

Question Re: G1 Top End not so good!

Is This Normal?
This is a relatively new rebuild so I wonder if there is some leakage that I am not aware of!
Could this have something to do with the fact that it is cutting out at the high end?

Get a mirror and look under the intake, my cart had two nipple under the intake ...one for the fuel pump and the other was open and blowing gas and oil all over the cart. the big one on the right goes to the fuel pump the other goes to the later model boost bottle.
