Default G1 Engine

On my G1 the part that connects the carb to the actual engine, the rubber piece is starting to dry rot and crack, how would I go about replacing this piece?

You can order one from a site sponsor (I would think) or a Yamaha golf car dealership. You'll need the serial# of the car to get the right one, There's a J10 (for 1979 to 1981), a J17 (for 1982 only) and J24 (for 1983 and up). This is if the engine hadn't been swaped.

I thought mine was cracked also....but it was not. That fitting is very thick. Take it off and have a good look at it before you replace it.

Good idea, it could just be surface cracks right? I may just replace just to not worry.
