Been thinkin about a motorcycle audio system for Spot. With 3" speakers, one in each rear corner of the top, and mount the amp/fm tuner,...I don't know where yet. Would like to have am band, but haven't seen one that comes with it. Looking at the "Shark 3080 250 watt", in black. Anybody have any imput or advice on any such model?

Why would you want a motorcycle setup? They are designed for small spaces. You have all the room in the world in your G8! Heck, you've got room enough to install a home stereo in these things! I'd go with a normal car stereo (cheap one) installed in the dash, and install bookshelf type speakers right behind head level of your top, mounted to the roof supports. Or go with one of those fabricated plastic roof stereo and speaker mount systems. You can build one out of wood too, but it would be heavy.

Thats the problem, I don't have any room. And I was hoping to keep the dash vague, so it keeps the very simple look. Hoping to keep just a "seat and a steering wheel" look. ![]()

Mike i went with a small amp and a jack to plug in a ipod. The kids love it and it sounds great. The only problem is you wont be able to get AM. I didnt even think AM was still around. Here is a picture of one. Its hard to see it in the picture but the plug in is on the left side of the road runner in the center dash.
