Default Starter Generator Getting Hot

2006 Yamaha gas G22, starter generator is getting very hot after use. You can smell it getting hot and it will burn your hand if you touch it.
I replaced the brushes with new ones.
Any ideas??

sounds like bearings to me need replaced.Or do these use bushings?Someone will know which for sure should post soon.
