Rear flip seat build
Is anyone interested in pictures and specs on my flip rear seat build on a G16? I had some time this week so I have it fabbed up almost all of the way. I designed it so that four bolts remove the entire thing. It is easy to see the parts I made and all of the dimensions and I think I can get all of this in a picture thread here. Since it isn't painted yet, every part is clear including some sad welds on occassion....
I based this build greatly off of Mike Mac's design but as in anything, you end up having to make changes to suit your needs. The most obvious here is that mine is not on the same model cart so the bracketing is different. Let me know if there is interest in me taking the time to post everything. Thanks!! |

Re: Rear flip seat build
I will do. Even if it helps one person that is good enough I guess!! What kind of shots and information does everyone want?
I'll start a completely new thread when I do and have this one locked and linked at that time. I'll try to get something started tonight or tomorrow on the thread. |

Yes. I want to see those pics. My cart came with a back seat that did not fit right or was not for a g16. I have my ideas to modify it to work and your will help me out for sure.

Re: Rear flip seat build
Sorry all! Been awful wet around here and the neighbor has been pretty trying on me doing free fab work for him... Always enjoy helping others and it seems to put my stuff on the back burner. I know in time it will come back to me!
I may be slow on the pictures. My wife teaches bellydance and she took off with the camera this morning to Chicago for an event. Phone pics will not do the flip seat justice. |
