G1J10 No fuel to carb
I recently purchased my first golf cart it will start on starting fluid but no fuel will come out of fuel pump.I took off line from fuel tank and sucked on it fuel will come out. Also the line from the cylinder seams to have oil coming out when i crank the engine over.Has any one had to replace a fuel pump on a Yamaha g1 2 stroke before.Cart was sitting for about 2 years from what i was told.

Re: G1J10 No fuel to carb
The oil from the cylinder to the fuel pump could be residue oil added into the cylinder for storage, it should clear out in a short time. You may need to clean out the carb if the gas has gone bad after two years not running. If the gas has gone bad it probably has made the pump inoperative also.
