G16 Carb clean question
I bought a '96 G16 last Sept and it runs a little rough at times. So I'm working through the troubleshooting process. I've replaced the old gas which helped a great deal and I think my next step is to clean the carb and possibly replace some fuel line hoses. So my question is, when you remove the carburetor do I need to expect to replace any gaskets or should they most likely be able to reuse? I'm sort of a newbie in this area so I don't know if they are glued or not.
Thanks in advance! |

Re: G16 Carb clean question
I had to replace the bowl gasket and the one between the carb and head. You can pick them up a your local small engine shop or at least I did.
You will need to take the jets out and clean with something, torch tip cleaner maybe. Good luck!!!!!!!! |
