Re: Another lifts going on!
Made a little head way!! Got rear tires & shocks off pretty easy. But the clutch that's on it is proving to be a task. Have to remove the gas tank just to get to the clutch cover screws! One of the strap nuts on the tank isn't playing friendly. Figured that my boy and are going to take it easy and soaked it down for the night and try again tomorrow. Post some pics when it gets to the better parts!!

Re: Another lifts going on!
OK! Sitting in the office with to much time to think about it and decided to ask about the clutch. The newer style clutch on the cart had a large cover with 6-8 small screws around the perimeter. I assume these have to come off first, correct? This is why I have to remove the tank or wheel well since I can't get a large enough screw driver in the space. Unless someone knows another way!

Yep...have to pull the gas tank! That is the easiest way that I know of! Once you get the cover off, remove the center bolt and the clutch should slide off. Then use clutch tool and pop off sheeve if you are going to replace seals.
Let me know if you have any problems! Stephen |
