Default Need answers fast not just yamaha

So my neighbor has a older Polaris 350 2wd atv for sale for 250$ doesn't run. I was wondering could I completely take the suspension and wheels/tires off,and then merge that onto a golf cart for both handling ,and a lift

You could probably use the shocks and possibly the tires depending on the size. You would have to use golf cart rims. To use the shocks, you would have to make or get a lift kit. Pretty easy on a Yamaha. Basically shock spacers for the back which might not be needed using atv shocks but you would need a plate for the front to drop the a-arms.

Have you go a cart yet?
Are you talking about taking just shocks and tires or complete suspension, front and back?

It can be done and has been done by several people here but it is a lot of work to get right.
Do a search and read there build threads.
If I remember correctly you are 14 so you must consider your abilities to build, design, fabrication and welding skills to get this done properly so you end up with a SAFE cart that you will be responsible for.

Personally, I would save your money, add some to it and buy a lift kit with tire/wheel combo package that you can install in a day nd know you have a safe working cart.
