Default g1 blowing crank seal out

I turned my g1 into a premix motor and did away with the oil pump. The only problem is the oil pump holds the crank seal in and I lost the oil pump bolts that hold it into the engine case. I need to know the size and pitch of those bolts.

In the pic below, there is one bolt 8mm x 1.25 thread and three bolts 6mm x 1.0 thread. Length will depend on what you are going to use for a seal retainer. The phillips head screw just holds the halves of the oil pump drive gearcase together. Thanks for the pic, Calvin.

I am not aware of a comprehensive thread on rebuilding the G1 engine. There are a number of threads dealing with the various steps in rebuilding it. Use the search button to find them. If you are planning on a complete rebuild, I strongly suggest you purchase a factory shop repair manual to guide you. One can be purchased direct from Yamaha:

http://store.kencook.com/yml/index.cfm?event=consumer

One can also be purchased here:

http://www.manualuniverse.com/

Click on catalogue and search for Yamaha G1..This is a scan of the 1983-89 factory repair manual in .pdf. Some of the images are dark, but it is useable. You get what you pay for.
