Overheating

Got some ideas from u guys, but still having same problem. 1994 g9 getting extremely Hotttt. Checked carb, no obstructions in cowl around motor, new air filter, new plug, checked brakes,new fuel filter, adjusted valves, motor will get hot just running it in neutral, you can sizzle water on valve cover after 10 minutes,after 15 minutes muffler will glow orange on the stem close to motor. Also loosened muffler to let it leak and drove around to see if it was plugged no help. Running out of ideas please help

Did you check the air intakes around the flywheel? Try cleaning the fins on the flywheel so they are more efficient at moving air. A lean fuel mixture increases temperatures. Check timing as it affects temperatures as well.
