Thumbs up Re: I need your full honest G2/9 opinion :)

I've got a g2 and love it, the only set back is the rev limiter but since I added the lift with 22's it hasn't been a problem

I have never clocked it for speed and have only used it on dirt roads. It pulls hills just fine but it's not made for boulder crawling. it's only 9hp so if you want speed and torque then you'll have to big block it.

I like mine. I would like better steering but it`s ok. I have 23`s and bumb against the limiter alot . I gps`d it at 22-23 mph. I have a yello torque spring in mine and it has good power for clinbing small hillls .

I have a TXT ezgo, Club Car villager 6 and a Yamaha G2. The EZGO is the non stop project spends more time being built then run, The Club Car is all stock except by passing the govenor it's what takes the kids around and the G2 is hands down my favorite. I know every time I sit down and hit the gas it's going to go no questions. It's the one that has the trailer hitch and gets hauled out to use around the horses. We call it the donkey. Around here every one knows that it will lose traction before it ever stops trying. All of them are gas powered and all are maintained religously but the Yammy gets beat mercilessly and never asks for anything more then gas. I'll buy a G2/G9 every chance I get. Hope it helps.

I don't think a G2/G9 would know what to do if it wasn't getting beat daily. I guess they'd go insane or something... Maybe that's what started Maximum Overdrive... OH DEAR LORD HURRY EVERY ONE THAT OWNS ONE START BEATING IT NOW. Go jump it or pull something way to heavy to save humanity... Just post vids/pics when you do.

My G9 GPS at 30mph on pavement, 28 on dirt road. Airbox is hogged out and carb jetted richer, no governor, clutch worked on some but stock. It will be getting a clone engine soon it is starting to burn a little oil, getting tired. Always had synthetic in it since '99 and is a 91 cart. Has 22s on it needs 12psi or better in rears to hit those speeds. Amazing cart, just not that attractive.

Here, take a spin. Should have hit 28 before I turned around.
