Looking for a rear seat that won't buck you out.
Hi:
I'm looking for rear seat for 2000 Yamaha G16 that doesn't buck you out. I had a rear flip-flop on a Club Car that I used to own. The seat was so narrow that you had to constantly hang on to keep from sliding off the seat. I'm beginning a new project with a G-16 and starting with lights and rear seat by Halloween to take the kids trick or treating. I've looked at a few websites and the seats look pretty narrow. I'd appreciate any recommendations. Thanks |

Plk, I welded 2 tabs on the frame, and mounted the seat main fram to those tabs. Then I welded some 1" square to the seat up rights to mount the seat backs. Hope this helps! You may have to come up with some of your own mods to make this set up work.

Hi:
Thanks for the replies and sorry I didn't reply sooner, but I was on the road this week. I don't have the ability to fabricate a rear seat. I ended up purchasing the below seat from one of the site sponsors. It says and looks to have a deep seat. Thanks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-G14-G...ht_3372wt_1037 |

Re: Looking for a rear seat that won't buck you out.
$310, shipped, for a FLIP-FLOP seat seems like a good deal !! I have seen carts with rear seats that have a "grab" bar mounted vertically and in the center (on the foot platform). This gives rear passengers another point to grab for stabilization, if needed. If you have problems, you can look into that as an additional add on or, you may be able to fabricate something fairly easily. RAY
