Default Shocks and springs

I Would like to put a rear seat on my factory 2000 G-16, Will a set of heavy duty rear shocks and springs stiffen it up ?

Yes, there are some springs on McMasters you can put on the stock shocks there is a thread someplace about it, maybe in the lifted section or here. I don't know what model yamaha they fit however, but it was much cheaper than different shocks that you can buy for this.

I put the hd springs from Jacks on the stock shocks. Works very well. Easy up grade and dependable.
