Thanks for the welcome guys. My first question or rather request can someone help me with a wireing diagram. my loom looks all intact. My buggy has front & rear lights (not so common in the uk) that part of it looks easy, Its the rest of it looks a little harder.
And i would hate to connect up wrong and burn something out. Many Thanks Colin..

Not sure what you are wanting to connect but if you hook up anything aftermarket, don't ground anything to the frame. Ground directly to the neg. post of the battery.

I have connected the positive lead to the battery, connected the negative lead to the battery and to ground on the buggy frame, but also on the negative lead battery post clamp there is a small black wire about 4 inches long with a male bullet end connector and i can not find anywhere to connect it to.. but where the loom runs along the chassis frame behind the battery there is another small black wire that splits out of this part of the loom with a female bullet connector end but they are to short to join together. The female bullet connector does not look original it has i crimpt end to it, could it be possible that this wire at some time broke and a short length was put in but is now missing..

Can you get us a pic. of it? You'll have to use our image loader here in order for me to see it while I'm at work.

Most of the time, if you ground anything to the frame, it will blow the main 10 amp fuse under the driver's side rear fender well (in the box by the battery on a G16). It being grounded to the battery also, may keep it from doing this, but I would ground to neg. post of the battery only.

Those wires should be connected. If they are too short, I would make a jumper to connect them.

Yes, I did a test at one time and used the frame as a ground for a horn. The wire got hot! I did the same test grounding directly to the battery and no more hot wires. If you can, and your lights still work, I would remove that ground wire from the chassis just to be safe. Also, some ground clamps have an extra ground wire on the ground clamp just to make it easier to hook up an extra electric goody.Make sure you trace that black wire just to be safe. Scott.
