Default Later body installed on earlier G9 (or before) chassis?

We are as 'green as grass' in this world of carts so please bear with us we search for our project. My son & I are looking at the possible purchase of a "rough" G9 (--or before) cart (currently unsure of year or model) for a big-block conversion and customizing. This cart has some real plusses for us however unfortunately I am not a fan of that separate seat back support that rises out of the side of the body which this cart has. Since whatever we purchase is slated for a full frame-up conversion, will the later G14-19 style body fit with minor bracket fabrication, --or is there something else we should be considering?

What we were hoping is we could just purchase a custom painted body (like those offered by vendors, or on eBay) and retrofit to this chassis. Thoughts??

Thanks in advance!

Thoes bodys will not fit a G2/G9. Thoes bodys are for the new chassis that are 3" longer and 3" wider.

Go find "The New Guy"'s photos of his car, and see if you still feel that way.

Thank you for your response. I must admit I had some difficulty finding "The New Guy"'s pictures as the tag in his signature line does not show those pictures any longer in that build-thread, and I also could not find his photo album.

I did find one image that I think is his, and I have marked the area that I think would make applying custom paint & graphics in this area rather difficult. Probably just an aesthetics hang-up on my part, ...and this cart may be that we just need to bypass on and look for something else.
