Need confirmation that this is a G1
I need to confirm this cart is what is referred too as a G1 as I have no idea what year it is. Can you tell by looking at it?
I'm looking to order a 6" jakes and some 22's. I can take more pics, just let me know of what. Thanks! |

Re: Need confirmation that this is a G1
thanks, I guess it is obvious, I should of researched a little more.
Now I have to figure out the year so I can confirm if a Jakes lift will work in this one. Something about the front spindles? |

Re: Need confirmation that this is a G1
There are posts here, you have to look up the serial #. Some are on the frame by the top of the rear shocks, some are down behind the rear tire by the bumper mount..and those are stamped into the metal. 82s have a different cylinder too, on the engine, otherwise most stuff is the same. You can change out the spindles iirc, its all posted here.

That's a nice looking G1 you got there. The body looks to be in good shape and the paint looks good too.

Re: Need confirmation that this is a G1
I know a guy with a real nice one that is all stock and still white. I told him I wanted it but think he will keep it until his end. He had me tune it up, it runs nice and the steering and all is tight.

I had a G1 that I sold last year. I put a 6" Jakes on it with 22" inch tires! I miss it!
