Default g9 exhaust question

I get alot of exhaust fumes up front. So I used the original exhaust pipe, and with a little cutting and welding, routed it out the back of the cart. I welded a support from the end of the pipe to the muffler, but the pipe cracked from vibration. Wagner exhaust has a 1 inch flex pipe that I'm interested in. If I use a 1" flexpipe off of the muffler (instead of a 3/4"pipe) am I gonna hurt performance? I've got a stock intake and carb, but plan on using the performance jet I got from CPP. Thanks in advance.

I don't think it will be a problem as long as your larger and don't create anymore back pressure. Kinda like having an extra long exhaust tip I suppose?

We mounted a muffler on the bar that goes across the rear axles, it moves with the engine. Just make sure it does not hit the body when the rear suspension compresses.

I think most of the problem with the exhaust is the tiny port in the head. You may have to mod the airbox to use a richer jet. I took the silencer off and had to jet richer, that is part over the generator.
