Default G1 carb, what goes in this opening?

Cleaning out my carb and have this threaded hole and in the bottom has small pin hole that is open to carb inside housing, anybody know what should be here?

There are several versions of this carb, but on mine there is nothing there. What are the #'s on your carb?

It starts j10, found a diagram for a G1 carb almost the same just slightly different on TNT and it shows a pilot adjust screw n spring should be there, there is a small pin hole so I think it is

Opened up carb and found all this crap in it, hopefully found my problem cause I can start it and keep running by spraying fuel mix in carb

Yep, you are missing the low speed mixture screw and spring.
Might try Yamaha Dealer or ebay or someone here might have a donor for sale.

Mikuni rebuild kits with the needle are available, while waiting
tear it down all the way and clean every thing with a torch cleaning kit.

Hi my carb looks just yours it is a j10 also the guys are right there is an adjustment screw there I found my YAMAHA dealer can get parts for a 28mm carb they can cross referance the part to other 4 wheelers or sleds of about the same vintage as our cart. It takes a little work. good luck

Local cart dealer gave it to me for free cause it had been sitting on shelf for so long, being an old G1 worked in my favor haha

The pic shows the package for the screw with the part#, the spring is the same # just a 2 in place of the list 1

Ok one more question then should be done with carb, the other adjust screw says its the jet pilot, should that be seated all the way down? Because this one was
