| Whats the best way to split a engine case? And removeing old gasket? They used silocon on the gasket. Thanks. |

| Use a rubber mallet or dead blow hammer to shock the case apart.Then use a paint scraper or razor blade to remove the rtv.You can also then use a scotch bright pad to clean up the surface to make sure all the rtv is gone. |

| Those scotch pads work awesome if you have a die grinder, I use those on near any gasket surface. They don't take off any metal unless you really hammer on them. I mean the ones that go on a grinder not the hand pads, which I also have used a lot especially for paint prep. You can also use those with solvents to clean things. |

| Gone Wild | if you look reallllllllllly close there are a couple of spots where you can stick a screwdriver in it to pry in the suggested spots. |
