Need G1 muffler BBQ advice
Hello. New here. Refurbishing a G1 and exhaust is stinky (gas smell) with lots of white smoke coming out. From what I read, BBQing the muffler will help with exhaust and performance.
To be clear, I remove muffler and place on firepit of hot coals and burning wood. Next, let it cook red hot while flames come out of the ends. I do this until no more flames coming out of muffler. Next, let it cool, tap chunks loose and blow out with air compressor. Reinstall. Is that it? Any other advice? Never did this before and want to do correctly. Thank you in advance. Bodzcamper |

Thats pretty much it. I shot air from each end until stuff quit coming out
