Default G16 ?

I have a couple of questions I was hoping someone could help me with. The first one is I switched my G14 electric body to a G16 gas. Everything went smooth, but now I have a hole where I used to plug the charger into. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to cover it with?

Also now that I switched to a gas cart I was hoping to pick up some more speed. Before adjusting the 10mm nut it did 13mph. I tightened the nut all the way and now it goes 17mph. I was hoping for low 20's. Is a 4mph increase normal for tightening the nut all the way?

Thanks!!

Install a stereo and put speakers where the hole is.
Check the slack in the accelertor cable at the pedal and on the governor. Take most of the slack out of the cable and see if that helps.

How do you take the slack out of the cable?

10 mm nuts where cable is held to the cart loosen the visible cable side nut and tighten the opposite side nut and it will take slack out.

Pull floor mat up from driver side then remove metal floor pan under pedals. Check the slack ,I think pedal movement should be 1/8-1/4 " when cable starts to pull.
Under starter will be another bracket with cable coming from governor to carb. Do the same there as above. If you tighten too much the cart will jerk at low speeds.

hook it direct. one very easy way to hook it dirrect is to hook the two cables that are back on the govenor together with a small zip tie and see how fast it go's. or just run the throttle cable direct to the carb. we have our g16 hooked direct to the carb and it hits 30mph on the road.

Here is what you do if you want to bypass it http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-y...or-bypass.html if you want to tighten your throttle cable there it a part of your floorboard that pulls up by you brake and gas pedal and you will see the cable there but you also have to take your airbox off and make sure when the pedal is all the way off the carb is all the way closed.
