Default G2 Ignitor connector

While putting my motor back in and hooking everything up I noticed that 1 wire going to the ignitor was broken and not hooked up. The connecters on the ignitor box are fine its the plug that goes into the ignitor that the wire broke off of. I was thinking I could remove the old connector from the plastic and get the little metal crimp on ends to slide in the connector. Anybody had this issue and how did you fix it? Anybody know where I could possibly get the connector ends?

Mouser has that stuff. Someone on here not long ago soldered a new wire into one but I don't know the post. Maybe in the last month or so.

I saw that thread but his connectors broke on the ignitor itself. I stopped at NAPA on the way home from work and ordered some terminals that I hope will fit.

I ordered the connectors from NAPA but they were to big to go into the plug. While at NAPA I found a plug that it looked like the ends were the same size. I bought this plug and took the wire and terminals out and I was able to drill out the Ignitor plug and fit these in and connect the wires back up. Hopefully, when I get the cart all put back together everything will run right.

After seeing some posts like this, if could be a good idea for the rest of us to fill that connector with dielectric grease/etc to waterproof it.

I had 2 issues. The first was that I had 2 wires break right at the plastic plug that goes into the ignitor. The 2nd problem was that one of the prongs on the ignitor itself broke. Luckily the broken prong and 1 broke wire went together. I was able to open the ignitor, drill a small hole right above the broken prong, and solder a section of wire onto the prong. I then ran the wire through the plastic plug and connected it to the broken wire. Once all connections were done I was able to slide the factory connector into the ignitor and I taped all the wires together to support them. Corrossion inhibitor was sprayed on the connection prior to seal it up.
