Yes TCI's can when warm cause a loss of spark. Best way is to stick a "dynamic spark tester" (about 8.00 to 15.00 at the autoparts store) run the car, when it gets hot and you lose spark, time to buy a new TCI.

Pulled off the coil tonight and it seems like it was rubbing on the fly wheel pickup magnents very shiny spot were it looks like it was hitting could this cause it to missfire and I checked the power wire on the coil and it did not have 12 volts in fact I couldn't get it to read anything but mills volts hit the pedal motor turns over and still no voltage but the cart runs with it hooked up so trying to decide if it'd wiring or coil I did losen the coil bolts and pull up on it and tighten them back up but this made it not want to run at all thanks for the help
