85 G1 Project
Well after months of frustrations and $$$$, here is the finished product. This cart started out free for the hauling. It's a 85 G1 that had been badly abused.
Total frame off restoration, all wiring redone, complete brake assembly's, cables, King Pins, Shocks,Seats, Alum tread plate,Custom Bumpers and Lights,Complete body wrap by me,even the steering wheel. (being that is what I do for a living) . Engine was purchased from Stephen Karp (skarp). Stephen is absolutely awesome to deal with and very helpful! and about a million little misc parts. I Thanks all the members of this site for posting so much helpful information. Check out a few pictures and let me know what you think. I had a blast building this G1 and the way it turned out, that the $$$ I spent is nothing. Now to figure out my next cart! Will definitely be WILD! |

Way to bring that G1 back to life. It looks like a new cart again.

Re: 85 G1 Project
Thanks smallblock and hilla.
Field, that is a vinyl wrap that I printed and laminated. We wrap vehicles for a living. Littleboots, when I got the cart, they had raised the rear 2" by raising the shock mounts. The front shocks I got on e-bay by just measuring my old ones from eye to eye. I think I paid like 50.00 for the set. |
